“Blackmore Building Services is a small building company specialising in developing small challenging sites for a number of HA’s & RSL’s.

The nature of our business means the sites involve and require a greater input from all our sub-contractors to ensure our success on completing the sites on time and to a very high standard as required by our clients.

Blackmore has been working with Flight Timber since 2007 and they have successfully completed both housing and flat developments with us.

Flight Timber offers a full service including design, supply and install. Once we have agreed terms on a project we instruct our architect and engineers to deal with Flight’s design team directly. This is a huge asset to a small building company such as ours. We have constant contact with all of Flight’s team who keep us informed with the design process and work very closely with us to keep in time with our ever changing site programs.

Flight’s site engineers visit our sites regularly during the ground works process and work with our site agents checking the slabs to ensure that when the timber frame arrives on site there are no hold ups or problems.

Flight issue us with a detailed build program prior to their commencement onsite and to date they have always met or beaten their program dates. This is once again a very crucial element for us as we work to very tight programs.

On completion of their works on site we receive a full package of as built drawings and design calc’s along with all the chain of custody information which once again is essential for us as we have to achieve code on all our projects.

Blackmore Building Services feel they work in partnership with Flight rather than employing them as a sub-contractor and look forward to a successful future for both our companies.”
